1. Witness turtles nesting at Mon Repos, Qld

Between November and March is when one of the largest loggerhead turtle nesting populations in the Pacific converges in Bundaberg. In the summer months, you can join a ranger-guided encounter on the beach to see the tiny hatchlings scurrying off to sea.
