Berjaya Times Square

With 12 levels of retail therapy, Berjaya Times Square is one of Kuala Lumpur’s largest shopping malls. There are over 1,000 stores to browse, selling everything from the latest fashions to books and electronics. See a flick at the cinema, enjoy a game of bowling or sing your favourite tunes in one of the 64 karaoke rooms. Continue the fun with a visit to the mall’s giant indoor theme park. Little ones can jump on the colourful carousal or go for a boat ride, while teenagers can brave the heart pumping Supersonic Odyssey - an 800 metre multiple inverted indoor roller coaster reaching speeds of 80 kilometres per hour.

1Utama

Situated outside the heart of the city, the 1Utama shopping mall has over 600 stores, spread out across 6 floors. There’s also a wide variety of cafes and restaurants serving local delicacies and international favourites. Take a break from your shopping adventures and wander the unique indoor rainforest housing many species of tropical plants and flowers. Kids can be entertained at the movie theatre, bowling alley or the indoor rock climbing arena. Don’t leave without a visit to 1Utama’s Secret Garden. Hidden on the rooftop, you’ll find a beautiful garden in the sky featuring over 600 species of rare plants.

Suria KLCC

Many flock to the soaring Petronas Twin Towers for impressive views across Kuala Lumpur. At the feet of the giant buildings, you’ll find Suria KLCC, a popular 6 story shopping mall. Open daily, this shopping plaza houses many fashion boutiques including Calvin Klein, Banana Republic and Jimmy Choo. Kids can have the opportunity to touch a starfish at the state of the art aquarium, featuring a wide variety of marine animals. Suria KLCC also has an amazing science discovery centre called Petrosains. Kids can enjoy many interactive exhibits including the popular DinoTrek experience.

Sunway Pyramid

Landmarked by a huge monumental sphinx, the Sunway Pyramid is a unique Egyptian themed shopping mall. Somewhat of an entertainment complex, you will find restaurants, shops, bars, hotels and resorts all housed within this giant pyramid. Kids will relish the chance to try out the popular indoor ice skating rink. There’s also a bowling alley, indoor archery, playgrounds and a number of exciting rides including a large Ferris wheel. For more family fun, consider venturing behind the shopping mall to Sunway Lagoon, a collection of five fantastic theme parks.

Midvalley Mega Mall

Comprising over 400 stores across 5 floors, the Midvalley Mega Mall is your one stop shop for shopping, dining and entertainment. On the third level, you will find Megakidz, an entertainment and play area for kids aged one to sixteen. Inside you’ll find colourful playgrounds, a small cinema, an aviation play area with a helicopter, slippery slides and a cafeteria. The Midvalley Mega Mall also sits adjacent to a sister shopping centre, The Gardens, with an additional 200 stores.
