The Vietnamese capital boasts fascinating sights such as Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum, the Fine Arts Museum and the beautiful Hoan Kiem Lake. So while there are plenty of things to do for adults, there is also a considerable amount of attractions that will keep the kids amused also.

One Pillar Pagoda

One Pillar Pagoda
Constructed as a tribute to Emperor Ly Thai Tong, the One Pillar Pagoda is deemed by locals as a symbol of fertility. It was built to mark the birth of the Emperor’s son. Despite the reason for its construction, the temple is an artistic wonder that deserves to be appreciated by all.

Ho Tay Lake Water Park
Terrific fun for the whole family, Ho Tay Lake Water Park is a great way to cool down during the summer months. On offer are tube rides, waterslides and a wave pool. A major crowd pleaser is the floating tube lake.

Thu Le Park and Zoo
The Thu Le Park and Zoo is a blend of pleasant parklands and a collection of animals. The elephants and the big cats are always popular but also take time to admire the cute monkeys. The nearby lake gives enthusiasts the opportunity to hire a dragon-shaped pedal boat. There are also rides for the kids.

Thang Long Water Puppet Theatre
One of the city’s premiere attractions is the Thang Long Water Puppet Theatre, a traditional Vietnamese art form. This incredible puppet show with live musicians is sure to keep the kids mesmerised. The theatre is situated in the northeast corner of the Hoan Kiem Lake.

Ly Thai To Statue & Park
This picturesque park has been beautifully designed to blend both modern thoughts and traditional views. As such, it’s a great place to wander, especially through the willows that overlook the Hoan Kiem Lake. You’ll see many local families enjoying the park together.
