Hili Fun City is a good-old fashioned theme park with more than 30 individual attractions, ensuring that there’s something for kids of all ages. There’s a Hili Swinger, Circus Train and a Carousel that reflects the charm of Arabia. Be sure to also jump into a zebra-striped jeep and go on a safari adventure or admire the cute animals that live in Sinbad’s farm.
Al Ain Zoo
The whole family will love the Al Ain Zoo, which was founded by the late Sheikh Zayed in 1968 and boasts over 4000 animals. The zoo focuses on the conservation of endangered species including the Arabian oryx; at least 30 per cent of the 180 species in the zoo are endangered. The big ticket animals include jaguars, cheetahs, Bengal tigers and wildebeest. It’s also worth checking out the desert monitors, Nubian ibex and the white rhinoceros.
With a striking red roof, Ferrari World is an indoor theme park that celebrates everything motoring. There are twenty attractions to keep everyone amused including a roller-coaster, racing simulators and a 4D virtual tour. Kids will love the Junior Pilota’s driving school, where they’ll have the opportunity of driving a scaled-down 430 GT Spider and zooming around a special track.
Arabian Nights Heritage Village
This attraction is designed to offer holiday-makers an insight into traditional Emirati life. After appreciating the cultural exhibits such as visiting the souq or meeting a falcon, cool down in the on-site swimming pool. Alternatively experience the adventure by going quad biking or sand surfing.
