Sahoro, Japan
As a winter wonderland, Sapporo on Japan’s northern island, was firmly put on the map when it hosted the winter Olympics in 1972. The Club Med resort was opened in 1987 and offers a fantastic spa to sooth muscles after a solid day's skiing. The facilities on the slopes include eight lifts and a variety of downhill runs that cater to all levels of ski experience. The kids are also well looked after with dedicated children clubs broken into various age groups.

Chamonix Mont-Blanc, France
The Chamonix Mont-Blanc resort is situated less than five minutes from the heart of Chamonix and comprises of three adjoining buildings. The Savoy is the principle hotel, with Mont Blanc as the secondary complex and The Brévent as the newest addition to the ensemble. During summer this is a great region for rock climbing and hiking – however the real treat is winter when powder-like snow covers the mountains in spectacular fashion. Interestingly the Chamonix Mont-Blanc lift system boasts Europe’s highest cable car at 3,842 metres.

Villars-sur-Ollon, Switzerland
Villars-sur-Ollon is located in the beautiful Vaudoise Alps just 25 kilometres from picturesque Lake Geneva. The Club Med resort itself is an original 1920's building that offers a timeless European hotel experience combined with modern luxuries. For travellers that would appreciate a pampering after a day’s skiing, the resort has a Wellness Centre where an experienced therapist will massage away fatigued muscles.

Cervinia, Italy
For an Italian ski experience, head to Cervinia in the Aosta Valley close to the Swiss border. The Club Med resort, which consists of two connecting buildings, proudly welcomes the whole the family; offering a congenial stay for skiing enthusiasts of all ages. Once on the slopes there are 27 black runs, 30 red and 73 blue across that total 360 kilometres.

Val d'Isère, France
