Price Drop Protection
Price drop protection is only applicable within 60 days of purchase of Essentials and is not applicable on any products purchased prior.
Cruise Essentials provides Price drop protection on the cruise component up to 90 days prior to sailing date. Other components of the booking include Price drop protection for 60 days from date of purchase of Cruise Essentials.
If the price of your land or air product falls below your purchase price, we issue you an Escape Travel Gift Card to the value of the difference in price.
Price Drop Protection applies to all airfares, accommodation, cruise and tour prices purchased in conjunction with an Escape Travel Essentials package only and may only be claimed once. Price Drop Protection does not apply to travel insurance, currency or cash passports. $39 Escape Travel Basics limited to $1000 claim. $79 Escape Travel Essentials and $79 Cruise Essentials is limited to $5000 claim. To qualify for Price Drop Protection the airfare, accommodation, cruise or tour must be exactly as per the original booking. For example dates, flight numbers, itinerary, room category, inclusions etc must be exactly the same as originally booked. Price Drop Protection applies to genuine airfares and tour prices from airlines, accommodation, cruise and tour suppliers and other Australian registered businesses and websites for travel that originates/departs from Australia. Airfare, accommodation, cruise or tour price must be presented to us on the same day as it was advertised. Airfare, accommodation, cruise or tour price must also be presented to us, in writing within 60 days from the date of payment in full of your original Escape Travel Essentials booking and prior to departure and must be for the same form of payment. You may only claim once per travel type within the Price Drop Protection period.
For Cruise Essentials, the cruise price must be presenting to us in writing prior to 90 days to sailing date of cruise and must be the same cabin type as your original cruise booking. If there are different inclusions on as part of your new cruise fare, eg on board credit amounts, cabin upgrades, drinks packages, your booking will reflect these. In order to obtain the cheaper fare your travel consultant may need to rebook your Cabin so your cabin number or location on the ship may change. Your dining selection and inclusions may also change.
This is valid for ocean cruising only.
If your cheaper available price is based on a Guaranteed Cabin the Cruise Price Drop Protection will only be valid if your original booking was also based on a Guaranteed Cabin.
Guaranteed Cabin: means a cabin assigned by the cruise line for you based on your selection of Cabin Type.
Airfare, accommodation, cruise or tour price must be available and be able to be booked by the general public when you bring it to us. The written airfare, accommodation, cruise or tour price must show the date it was advertised and the final price including all applicable fees and charges (including booking / service fees and all charges for the form of payment chosen). Airfares, accommodation, cruise and tour prices available due to membership of a group or corporate entity or subscription to a closed group are excluded.
The customer must present the price in writing and consultant must be able to verify it's correct at the time of presentation. Should the airfare, accommodation, cruise or tour price be less than your original Escape Travel Essentials booking we will issue a Gift Card to you for the value of the difference. Future Holiday Credit
Purchase of Cruise Essentials includes a $50 per person Future Holiday Credit. With the purchase of Cruise Essentials, we will apply a $50 per person discount to your next holiday for each full paying customer. The Future Cruise Credit is valid for 12 months from date of return. To use your Future Cruise Credit, you must book your next cruise within 12 months of your return date. To redeem your Future Cruise Credit, ask your travel consultant to contact the Essentials team.
Access to our Cruise Essentials Team
A member of our Essentials team will contact you to assist you with completion of your Cruise Personaliser. In order to provide this service, you will need to provide passport details for each passenger, emergency contact details and a credit card number.
^Travel insurance excess covered
Includes payment up to $250AUD payment (maximum) for Covermore Insurance excess. A maximum of one approved claims will be paid at $AUD250 per claim for the excess incurred (max refund $AUD250). Only valid when a Covermore Insurance policy is purchased (and paid in full) on the same itinerary as the and Escape Travel Essentials package. To claim your excess refund simply contact your travel consultant to have your refund deposited into your nominated bank account.

The Escape Travel Essentials Team will contact the customer to confirm airline seating. If your preferred seating is not available when you board your flight, Escape Travel will give each Escape Travel Essentials customer a $100 Escape Travel gift card. Korjo travel plug adaptor valued at $29.95
One korjo travel plug adaptor will be available for the customer to collect in-store at the time of travel documents are collected. If your travel documents are posted, the Escape Travel Essentials Pack will be posted to your nominated postal address and may arrive in separate deliveries. Where permitted by law, we accept no liability for any loss or damage which you may suffer in relation to your use of the international travel adaptor (except to the extent caused by fault on our part), and any claim you make shall be directly against the manufacturer and not us.

Our Australian based Customer Assistance team is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week from anywhere in the world. We can help you, should you need a hand or have an emergency on your holiday. Overseas call charges may apply.
Visa checks completed
All travellers must have a valid passport for international travel and many countries require at least 6 months validity from the date of return and some countries require a machine-readable passport. When assisting with an international travel booking, we will assume that all travellers on the booking have a valid Australian passport. If this is not the case, you must let us know. It is important that you ensure that you have valid passports, visas and re-entry permits which meet the requirements of immigration and other government authorities. Any fines, penalties, payments or expenditures incurred as a result of such documents not meeting the requirements of those authorities will be your sole responsibility (except to the extent caused by fault on our part). If you need information regarding visas, passports and other travel document requirements for your trip, please contact your consultant. We can provide you with general information on visa and passport requirements that apply to international travel bookings you make with us. Our consultants can also obtain more specific information from an external visa advisory service provider on your behalf (if you wish, we can assist you to obtain visas through this external service and fees will apply). We do not warrant the accuracy of information provided by any external service and accept no liability for any loss or damage which you may suffer in reliance on it (except to the extent caused by fault on our part). If you are travelling to the United States please see https://esta.cbp.dhs.gov for important information regarding compulsory pre-registration for their visa waiver program (“ESTA”).
