Downtown Christchurch

Staying in the CBD remains one of the best ways to stay central and see everything you want to see while on tour. The CBD puts you close to historical sites, galleries and fabulous restaurants as well as the centre of the city’s public transport network. Sumner

A coastal suburb out of the city, Sumner is a quiet, low-key place to stay. Overlooking the sea and right next to the sizeable Godley Head Park and nature spot, Sumner is one of the best areas to stay in Christchurch if you’re looking for somewhere to simply relax and explore at your own pace.

Lyttelton Harbour

Around a 20-minute drive from Christchurch is the portside suburb of Lyttleton in Christchurch’s south.
