Samoa a beautiful island group half-way between Hawaii and New Zealand and emerging as one of the best and most laid back of any Pacific Island destinations. The two largest islands in the group are fringed by blue waters, reefs and uncrowded beaches, while the interiors have dramatic volcanic peaks clad in green rain-forest with cool streams, waterfalls and dotted with traditional villages.

Some of the best waves in the Pacific can be surfed on these islands, and there is a good chance you may be able to enjoy it all to yourself.
