Coral Coast Information

A Fijian landmark of the most breathtaking kind, the beautiful stretch of turquoise coastline known as the Coral Coast runs along the southern end of Viti Levu, between Nadi and Pacific Harbour. Probably the most popular holiday region in Fiji, the stunning scenery of the Coral Coast is rivalled only by the huge range of accommodation options, ranging from budget–friendly beach bures (bungalows), like those at Crusoe’s Retreat or Mango Bay, to hotbeds of family fun such as Naviti, The Warwick or Hideaway, and from couples’ favourites such as Shangri-La’s Fijian Resort & Spa to glorious five-star spa resorts like Outrigger on the Lagoon.

The views are postcard perfect, with palm-fringed beaches, lush and green tropical jungles, sparkling lagoons, traditional villages dotted among sugar cane fields and local stores selling handicrafts. Yet it is the region’s hospitality and lively culture – often marked by the honoured ritual of welcoming guests with a kava drinking ceremony – that makes it unforgettable. Action is also easy to find, with plenty of opportunities to play a round or two of golf, enjoy a game of tennis, head off on an inland adventure, or really get your feet wet with a seemingly endless array of water sports – sailing, coral viewing by glass-bottom boat, swimming, snorkelling, windsurfing or scuba diving, to name a few.

The Coral Coast really does offer something special for absolutely everyone.
