Cairns, Australia is home to the Cairns Airport (CNS) which is the hub for international and domestic flights to the tropical far north of Queensland. Cairns Airport is in the suburb of Aeroglen and is only 7 km from the central business district. The terminal itself is split into two separate buildings.
To get from Cairns Airport (CNS) to the main shopping centre, you travel down the well named Airport Avenue (no getting lost in Cairns). You can pick up a rental car or a taxi from Cairns Airport. You can also take one of the hourly bus shuttles to Cairns and to Port Douglas.
