Japan Airlines has four types of seating arrangements for your choice – First Class, Executive Class, Premium Economy Class and Economy Class.
First Class
With First Class Japan Airlines flight bookings you have several seating choices, depending upon your destination. Choose from a Suite, the SkySleeper Solo in genuine leather or the SkySleeper, which is two side by side seats with privacy partitions that fold down into beds. Feather comforters and pillows are standard, as are pyjamas and toiletry bags. First Class meals and beverages can be your choice of Japanese or Western. There is an a-la-carte menu available while some flights offer freshly cooked rice. In-flight entertainment includes movies, video programs, audio and games on the JAL Entertainment Network.
Executive Class
Executive Class offers seat beds called the Shell Flat Neo, Shell Flat Seat and Skyluxe seat, allowing you to get some rest on your flight. Some flights include pyjamas and a toiletry kit. Meals and entertainment are similar to those in First Class.
Premium Economy
Premium Economy Class offers special amenities that regular Economy Class does not have. Your seating is the SkyShell, described as feeling like a hammock in the sky. Meals are just like those in Economy Class, but with the addition of snacks. The JAL Network is available, and some flights also have the Audio Video On Demand service.
Economy Class
Economy Class offers regular airline seats with the added perk of a personal video screen and headset on each seat.
