Queensland holidays in the Northern regions are best spent between September to November, during which period they enjoy a cooler climate (as opposed to November to March where the humidity is quite high). The coastal regions further south (Sunshine and Gold coast) enjoy a milder climate year round, still relatively hot and humid in summer months, but mild and sunny during winter, with cooler nights.
