Belfast International Airport BFS

International Airline Guide

« Back to airports in the United Kingdom

There are two airports located in Belfast, Northern Ireland, and the Belfast International Airport (BFS) is the largest. This airport is also known as Aldergrove and is approximately 21 km from Belfast to the north-west.

To get from Belfast International Airport to the centre of Belfast, you can hire a car and head up the M2 motorway. You can also use the Translink bus service (which is dearer than other UK bus services... so be prepared) or go by rail. To go to Belfast by rail is a journey in itself – you need to use the Antrim Airlink bus link service get to the Antrim railway station which is about 10 km away from Belfast International Airport (BFS). Oh and the other thing – it only travels Monday – Friday, so if you arrive on a weekend you need to make other arrangements.
