Bangkok Airport BKK
« Back to airports in Thailand
Bangkok Airport (BKK) is also known as the Suvarnabhumi Airport and is located in Racha Thewa, 25 km from Bangkok, Thailand. This is the main hub for the country’s airlines including Thai Airways International and Bangkok Airways. In terms of both passenger and cargo traffic the airport is one of the busiest gateways in Asia.
Bangkok Airport has a main terminal that is divided into concourses (which means it is pretty easy to get lost). There are 120 plane parking bays so you need to make sure where you are headed.
To get from Bangkok Airport (BKK) to downtown Bangkok and other nearby towns like Rangsit you can pick up a taxi cab, hire a limo if you are feeling rich, or take an air-conditioned bus.
