International Airline Guide
United Airlines

United Airlines has several hubs in the United States to help manage the demand for its services to more than 150 US destinations. The largest hub is in Chicago at O'Hare International Airport, where there are 650 departures each and every day. Other hubs are at Denver International, San Francisco International, Washington Dulles International and Los Angeles International Airport.

There are four types of seating available on United Airlines flight bookings - United First, United Business, United Economy Plus and United Economy.

United First Class offers 12 seats which convert into comfortable beds. There is a 68-inch pitch around these seats ensuring your personal area is extremely roomy. You have use of a satellite phone, reading light, privacy screen and power port for your laptop. Entertainment consists of movies, music, games and television shows viewed on portable digital players. A pre-departure beverage and full course meals, along with champagne cocktails and gourmet chocolate, are complimentary.

United Business Class is offered on international flights. It is very similar to United First Class. The seats have slightly less pitch and the entertainment system is built into the seats, along with the power port. Dining includes table linens and chef-designed three course meals. Passengers in this class get priority boarding and baggage handling.

United Economy Plus Class features seats at the front of the Economy Class section. These seats have more legroom available and passengers can be seated here for a small additional fee.

United Economy Class has several styles of seating, depending on the type of aircraft. Some of these seats have headrests while others do not. Some have seat-back television and some have the Audio Visual on Demand System. International Economy receives complimentary meals and drinks. Domestic Economy passengers are offered sandwiches, salads, snack boxes and alcoholic beverages for purchase. Water, juice and soft drinks are complimentary.
