Korean Air, the national airline of South Korea, has been voted one of the top twenty airlines in the world and it's easy to see why. When you book flights on Korean Air you can choose between three classes of service and seating, namely First Class, Prestige Class and Economy Class.
First Class
With First Class flight bookings on Korean Air, expect to feel as if you have arrived in the lap of luxury. Your Kosmo sleeper seat, shaped like a cocoon and boasting its own privacy screen, folds out to give you plenty of personal space for napping.
There is a massage feature in the seat, lumbar support for your back and leg and foot rests so that you can adjust everything to suit your needs. The 24-inches between seats gives you plenty of space to stretch your legs. First Class dining offers delicious Western, Japanese, Korean and Chinese cuisine along with the wine you can select from the gold medal wine list. Entertainment is provided on your personal screen by Audio Video On Demand, providing 10 movie channels and 16 music channels, along with other selections to keep you busy.
Prestige Class
Prestige Class also provides a comfortable place to grab some shut-eye with its shell flat seating. You can recline these seats up to 170 degrees, with a privacy screen and reading light available as well. In-flight dining allows you to enjoy Korean cuisine, as well as the local foods of your destination. A variety of both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages are available throughout the flight. Audio Video On Demand is available on your personal seat screen for your enjoyment, as well as a multi-media entertainment system.
Economy Class
Korean Air Economy Class provides travellers with comfortable ergonomic seats. Space between the seats depends on the type of aircraft, but can be anywhere from 31 to 35-inches. Local Korean entrees are available as well as cuisine from your final destination for in-flight meals. Audio Video On Demand is available on some flights while on others you can enjoy movies and television programs on the main cabin screen.
